This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from UM presents the Ausf.H version of the German Panzer III medium tank. It is a short-run model with finely engraved detail that faithfully captures the characteristic shapes of the hull and turret of this variant. The package contains plastic sprues and a sheet of decals.
The Panzerkampfwagen III was one of the main medium tanks of the Wehrmacht in the opening phase of the Second World War. The Ausf.H version brought changes to the armor and the running gear and was armed with the 50 mm KwK 38 gun. The Panzer III formed the backbone of the armored divisions and was used on most battlefields of the early part of the war.
First rid the parts of flash and casting remains, and separate the tiny parts with a sharp knife. Glue the plastic joints with liquid modeling cement. A base of primer and an airbrush for the base coat are a good choice; finish the running gear and the lower hull with washes and pigments for realistic mud and dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
