Montex 1:72 PZL.23A Karas / PZL.42 masks are precisely cut masks of matte film for a clean paint job on the glazing of a model of the Polish light bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of painting masks from the company Montex; it is not a kit. It is meant for plastic models of the Polish light bomber and reconnaissance aircraft PZL.23A Karas and the derived PZL.42 in 1:72 scale. Montex uses a good matte film that contrasts well with the glazing. The set makes painting the broken-up glazed cockpit with its many frames easier.
The PZL.23 Karas was a Polish single-engine light bomber and reconnaissance aircraft of the 1930s, used at the start of the Second World War during the defense of Poland in 1939. It was marked by a high-wing layout with fixed landing gear and a glazed crew cabin. The PZL.42 was a development variant with changes to the tail surfaces among other things.
Peel the mask off, lay it on the glass and press it down along the frames. Spray the color of the frames first and the upper camouflage once it has dried. The film comes off cleanly. For a soft transition use an airbrush.
The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
