This item is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory for the build. It offers the powerplant radiators of the Polish PZL 37 Los bomber in the form for the A and A bis versions. Radiators are among the parts where a small inaccuracy of shape shows even in a small scale, because they sit in the most exposed place on the engine nacelle. The set is in 1:72 scale and behind it stands the Polish brand IBG models.
The PZL 37 Los was a twin-engined bomber that at the close of the 1930s represented the most modern thing Polish aviation had built. For its day it had exceptionally clean aerodynamics, the twin wheels on the main landing gear allowed it to operate from grass surfaces, and for its modest dimensions it carried a bomb load comparable with considerably larger machines. The A and A bis versions used Bristol Pegasus radial engines of an earlier series, while the later B version received a more powerful form of the same engine. In the armament plans of 1939 the Los had the role of the main bomber type, but only a few dozen took part in the September fighting.
First wash the resin castings in lukewarm water with detergent, so that the mold release agent disappears from the surface: without that neither paint nor glue will hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a sharp knife. They are bonded with super glue, that is cyanoacrylate. Before you reach for the glue, dry-fit the parts and level any irregularities by wet sanding. The radiators are painted together with the engine nacelle, so glue them on before the camouflage is sprayed.
