A fine replacement pitot tube (2 pieces) for models of British Kittyhawk aircraft in 1:72 scale from Special Hobby.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a kit but a fine replacement part for superdetailing. The set contains two scale pitot tubes, that is, airspeed sensors, in the version for British Kittyhawks. The replacement is finer and stronger than the thin plastic part from the box, which breaks easily. The part is intended for models of British Kittyhawk aircraft operated by the RAF.
Kittyhawk was the British designation of the fighter derived from the American P-40. British machines carried a pitot tube of a different, cranked shape, so a specialized part suits a faithful model. The sensor on the leading edge of the wing is a small but prominent element of the aircraft's silhouette.
Clean the part carefully and dress it, seat it in a drilled hole and fix it with super glue. With two pieces in the package you also have a spare in case one is lost or damaged. Apply a fine primer before painting.
This is an accessory part, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
