Xtradecal 1:72 RAF National Insignia/Roundels 1920-1939 is a waterslide decal sheet with the interwar national insignia of the Royal Air Force.
Responsibility details are not available.
A waterslide decal sheet in 1:72 scale holding a set of British national insignia (roundels) from the interwar period of 1920 to 1939. This universal sheet will serve to mark various models of RAF aircraft of the time and is a practical stock of insignia in one scale. The printing is crisp, with rich colors and a thin carrier film.
Circular national insignia (roundels) went through changes in color, proportions and placing between the world wars. In the period 1920 to 1939 a range of variants with differing ratios of the individual rings appeared on RAF machines. The set thus makes it possible to capture the period marking of interwar aircraft accurately.
Clear-coat the surface under the insignia with gloss varnish to prevent silvering. Let the decal soften in lukewarm water and slide it into place. With circular insignia, watch the centering and keep them parallel to the axis of the fuselage or the wing. Finally go over them with matte or satin varnish.
This is a stand-alone decal sheet, not a model. The kit, the paints and the glue are not included.
