This set of waterslide decals from Exotic Decals offers markings for the British Hawker Hurricane Mk.I fighter in Romanian service, the second part of the series. It is not a model but a decal sheet that will give your build authentic national and personal markings. Intended for Hurricane Mk.I models in 1:72 scale.
The Hawker Hurricane Mk.I was a British fighter with a wood and fabric rear fuselage and eight machine guns in the wings. The Romanian Air Force put Hurricanes into action at the start of the fighting on the Eastern Front in 1941, among other places along the Black Sea coast. Horia Agarici is among the best known of its pilots. The machines wore combinations of British camouflage and Romanian markings, which makes them an attractive subject.
Apply the decals over a smooth, ideally glossy painted surface. Cut the piece out, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds, slide it off the backing onto the model and settle it; a decal softener makes that easier. Finally, a clear coat to unify the surface is recommended.
