The Stryker is an American eight-wheeled armored personnel carrier from which a whole family of purpose-built forms on a common chassis has grown. The name of this item lists six of them: the M1126 carries an infantry squad, the M1127 serves for reconnaissance, the M1129 carries a mortar, the M1130 is a command vehicle, the M1131 belongs to the observers directing fire and the M1133 provides medical evacuation. Because they differ mainly in the body, the whole family has its wheels in common.

Before painting, wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry, because paint holds poorly on a greasy surface. The flattened area has to point down toward the base, otherwise the whole effect disappears. Align the fitted wheels on a flat board so that the vehicle touches the base with all its wheels at once, and let them set in that position. Do not spray the tires with pure black, as a dark gray looks truer in a small scale; once it is dry, go over the edges of the tread with a dry brush and dust the underside according to the setting you are going to place the model in. Work out the particular gluing procedure and any changes to the axle pins according to the manufacturer's instructions.
