This detail set from the SPACE range in 1:72 by Eduard brings color 3D decals of the instrument and side panels of the cockpit together with photo-etched steel belts. It is neither a kit nor resin: these are thin 3D-printed elements on a decal backing paper that give the interior realistic relief and color without complicated painting. The set is intended for models of the three-engine Savoia-Marchetti SM.79 bomber in this scale.
The 3D decals are placed on the surfaces of the instrument panels and the inner panels, and the colors and the small details are already printed. They have no adhesive layer of their own and are fixed with PVA glue (white glue). The photo-etched steel seat belts give the seats a convincing look. The result is a fast and convincing lift of the cockpit even in a small scale.
For modelers who want to lift the interior of an SM.79 model in 1:72 scale the quick and clean way. The accessory does not replace the base kit.
