Injection-molded plastic kit of the Chinese supersonic fighter Shenyang J-6A in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Kovozavody Prostejov. The set comes from an upgraded tooling with fine engraving and offers a decal sheet for several interesting schemes. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Shenyang J-6 was the Chinese license-built and further developed version of the Soviet MiG-19 fighter, the first production supersonic machine of its class. It was marked by two turbojets, swept wings and a rugged structure. The J-6 became one of the most widespread Chinese fighters and served in many countries for decades.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and pay attention to the seating of the leading edges of the air intake and to the fuselage joints. Natural metal surfaces come out well over a smooth glossy base, on which metallic shades lay down well. Bring out the engraving with gentle washable toning.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
