Zvezda 1:72 Soviet Cavalry is a small set of unpainted figures of Soviet cavalry of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of Soviet cavalry figures in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. It is a small set of unpainted riders on horses in hard plastic from the Art of Tactic gaming range, laid out for easy snap-fit assembly. It suits wargaming as well as bringing Eastern Front dioramas to life.
The figures capture Soviet cavalry of the period from 1935 to 1942. Cavalry units of the Red Army kept their role even in the Second World War thanks to their mobility in difficult terrain and on reconnaissance. The set holds riders as well as saddled horses.
The parts are laid out for easy joining, and the joints can be secured with a drop of cement for plastic. Wash the figures and apply a primer before painting. Horses and uniforms come out best once the folds and the coats have been picked out with a wash and a dry brush; paint the transitions between the shades of the coat patiently.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and display bases are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
