A plastic kit of the Staghound Mk.I armored car in 1:72 scale from RPM.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American Staghound armored car in the standard combat version Mk.I, in 1:72 scale from the Polish manufacturer RPM. It is supplied as an unassembled set with a decal sheet. The Mk.I is the basic variant with a rotating turret in which there is a 37 mm gun and a coaxial machine gun.
The Staghound (factory designation T17E1) was a heavy wheeled armored car designed in the USA. The American army did not adopt it, and so it served above all with British, Canadian, Polish and other Allied units. It was powered by a pair of gasoline engines, had all-wheel drive and a crew of several men. The Mk.I version was the most widespread and was used for reconnaissance and for fire support from Italy to northwestern Europe.
First assemble and clean up the chassis and the wheel suspension, and only then close up the hull and the turret. Use liquid cement for plastic and sand the armor joints carefully. The details are brought out by a dark wash in the recesses and by dust or mud pigments on the wheels and the underside of the car.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
