SU-100 in Egyptian service is a plastic kit of the Soviet self-propelled gun in 1:72 scale from UM (UniModel).
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit from the Ukrainian maker UM captures the Soviet SU-100 self-propelled gun in the tank-destroyer role, in the version used by the Egyptian army. The set contains plastic parts, decals, a photo-etched fret and instructions. It is a small scale with a higher part count.
The SU-100 was a Soviet self-propelled gun of the end of the Second World War, armed with a 100 mm gun on the chassis of the T-34 tank. The vehicle was also built after the war and was exported to a number of countries. In Egyptian service it was used in the postwar conflicts in the Middle East.
Prepare the running gear and the small parts in advance. Use a thin cement for plastic and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. For a faithful look, a sand base shade matching desert service, washes and dust pigments work well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
