This resin detail set holds faithfully rendered exhaust nozzles of the Su-27SM fighter in 1:72 scale. It is an accessory for the kit that replaces the simplified plastic nozzles and adds fine texture to the petals and to the interior. It is not a stand-alone model of the aircraft.
The Su-27 is a Russian twin-engine heavy-class fighter with the characteristic aerodynamics of a fuselage blending into the wing. The SM version is a modernized rendition with improved avionics. The pair of exhaust nozzles at the rear of the fuselage is one of the prominent features that base kits handle in a simplified way.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces down with respiratory protection. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The nozzles come into their own once they are painted in metallic shades and the thermally loaded areas are picked out lightly.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin accessory for the kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
