The designation II A refers to the single-seat attack form of the type, which has a different cockpit layout from the two-seat versions, so the mask is cut for exactly that one.
The Vautour was a French twin-engine jet aircraft of the 1950s, designed as a general-purpose machine for three different roles. The II A version was the single-seat attack one, the II B the two-seat bomber with a glazed nose and the II N the two-seat all-weather fighter. The common airframe had its engines in nacelles under the wing and the main landing gear retracting into the fuselage, which is a characteristic and easily recognized feature for a modeler. Besides the French Air Force the type served with one other foreign user.
Before you start, check against the diagram that you really do have masks for the single-seat version and are not trying to apply them to a two-seat cockpit. Wash the glazing, dry it and do not touch it again. Move the pre-cut shapes with tweezers and lay them on first without pressing; only once you have checked them, press them down and run along the edge. Before painting it pays to run a thin coat of varnish or the glazing shade along the joint between the mask and the plastic: if anything creeps in anywhere, it will creep in there and be inconspicuous. Then spray the paint itself in thin coats. Take the masks off as soon as possible once the paint has dried, while the edge is brittle and breaks away cleanly.
The set is an accessory to a plastic kit, which it does not contain. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
