A plastic kit of the modern Russian main battle tank T-90 in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. The set is designed as a snap-fit kit, so the basic build works without glue too - which makes it suitable for beginners and for players who want the model on the table quickly. A decal sheet for finishing is included.
The T-90 is a Russian main battle tank taken into service in the 1990s as a thorough modernization of the proven T-72 design. It combines a compact hull, a 125 mm smoothbore gun with an autoloader, a powerful diesel and modern protection systems including reactive armor and active defensive aids. Thanks to its low silhouette and solid mobility the T-90 remains in active service to this day in various upgrades.
For strength, it is better to run a drop of thin cement for plastic into the snap-fit joints. Paint the running gear and the tracks before you cover them with the side skirts and the fuel tanks. For modern Russian vehicles a base coat with an airbrush works well, together with light highlighting of edges and panels, washes into the recesses and pigments for dust on the running gear. Fittings such as cables and lights come alive with small touches of color.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
