Ta 154A-1/R1 undercarriage covers is a resin set of landing gear doors for a model of the Focke-Wulf Ta 154 in 1:72 scale from the Quickboost (Aires) brand.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely cast doors for the main landing gear for building the German Focke-Wulf Ta 154 fighter in the A-1/R1 version in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane kit but a resin accessory that replaces the parts from a plastic kit with a more faithful shape and finer detail. The manufacturer is the Quickboost brand belonging to the Aires company.
The Focke-Wulf Ta 154 Moskito was a German twin-engine night fighter from the end of the Second World War. Its structure relied to a large extent on wood and glued joints. The machine practically never reached line service and remained rather at the stage of test and pre-production examples.
First wash the resin castings in lukewarm soapy water to remove any mold release residue from the mold. Cut the casting blocks off carefully and clean up the surfaces, and bond the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting; a dark wash will bring out the engraved detail and the detail of the landing gear bays. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
