The Tatra 87 was a luxury passenger car built from the end of the 1930s, famous for its bold streamlined shape and for the air-cooled eight-cylinder engine mounted at the rear. The car was ahead of its time both in aerodynamics and in design, and to this day it is among the most admired creations of the Czechoslovak automobile industry.
Short-run plastic calls for careful cleaning up and for trying the parts dry. For the smooth body, good filling and sanding of the joints is key, followed by a primer and a polished gloss finish. Finish the glazing and the fine chrome details only at the end of the build. With a smooth finish an airbrush helps to give an even coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
