This is a resin accessory, not a kit. The set contains finely detailed main wheels with weighted tires matching the late version of the Tempest Mk.V landing gear. Resin castings bring sharper detail in the tread and in the hub than plastic parts do and give the model a more realistic landing gear.
The Hawker Tempest was a British fighter of the Second World War powered by the Napier Sabre. It excelled in high speed at low altitude and in attacks on ground targets and on V-1 missiles.
Wash the mold release agent off the wheels and cut them off the casting blocks. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Set the flattening of the tire square to the ground. Paint the hubs and the tires separately, or use masking. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
