About product

Be IzzI – double-row riveting wheel 0.70 mm

The Be IzzI riveting wheel is a hand tool for imitating rivets. The toothed wheel of hardened steel is set in an ergonomic handle; drawn over the surface of the model it presses a regular row of small rivet impressions into the plastic. This version is double-row and has a spacing of 0.70 mm, so it creates two parallel rows of rivets with the same pitch at once — ideal for parallel riveted seams.

Use

  • Guide the wheel along a flexible steel ruler for a straight row of rivets
  • Work on a slightly yielding surface, such as a cutting mat, so that the rivets are impressed neatly
  • Use the double-row wheel where the rivets run in two parallel lines
  • The 0.70 mm spacing suits finer riveting, and finer spacings correspond to smaller scales
  • Test the pressure on scrap plastic first

Who it is for

For modelers of aircraft, vehicles and ships who want to restore or add riveting and increase the realism of the surface. Rather for a more advanced build.

The wheel has sharp teeth, so work carefully and keep it out of the reach of children.

FAQ

The wheel has two rows of teeth, so it creates two parallel rows of rivets at once. The 0.70 mm spacing is the pitch between the individual rivets in a row.

Guide the wheel along a flexible steel ruler and draw it smoothly. Test the spacing on scrap plastic first.

For aircraft, vehicles and ships where you want to restore or add riveting. Finer spacings generally correspond to smaller scales.
