The Tiny Tim rocket in 1:72 scale from Metallic Details is a combined resin and photo-etched armament set. It is not a model but an accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detail set of the unguided Tiny Tim rocket in 1:72 scale, combining resin parts with etched brass. It lets you add faithful underwing armament to models of aircraft from the end of the Second World War. It is an accessory - miniature armament and its mountings, not an aircraft kit.
Tiny Tim was an American large-caliber unguided aircraft rocket developed at the end of the Second World War, originally intended against ships and fortified targets. By its weight and diameter it was among the heaviest aircraft rockets of its time and was launched from carrier-based and land-based aircraft of the US Navy.
Wash the resin parts to remove any mold release agent and cut off the casting blocks; separate the small photo-etched features (fins, mountings) with a sharp knife and shape them. Bond everything with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin and apply a primer before painting.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
