New Ware 1:72 masks for the Topol SS-25 Sickle (EXPERT) are accurate self-adhesive painting masks for painting a model of the mobile missile system cleanly.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive painting masks for a model of the Topol intercontinental missile system in 1:72 scale. The masks are cut from thin washi (kabuki) tape, which adapts well to the shapes of a part and leaves no adhesive residue once lifted. The EXPERT level is the most extensive variant - it covers the cab glazing as well as the small items intended to be painted separately.
You lift the mask from the sheet, seat it precisely on the part and press the edges down. Then you apply the paint with an airbrush or a brush with no risk of bleeding. Once it is dry you remove the mask carefully and are left with sharp, clean transitions of color that are hard to achieve by unmasking by hand.
The RT-2PM Topol (SS-25 Sickle in the NATO reporting system) is a Soviet and later Russian mobile intercontinental ballistic missile system on a heavy wheeled chassis. It carries the launch canister on a massive multi-axle tractor, which makes it possible to move and disperse the launch sites. It entered service in the 1980s and became the backbone of the land-based component of the Russian strategic forces.
This is a set of masks - an accessory for painting a model. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
