This is a photo-etched detail set, not a kit. It serves to improve a model of the Panavia Tornado multi-role combat aircraft in the IDS and the British GR.Mk.1 versions in 1:72 scale. It adds fine items of interior and exterior that injected plastic cannot capture at this scale.
The Panavia Tornado is a European supersonic combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing, developed jointly by the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy. The IDS version was intended for strikes on ground targets and for low-level flight, and the British GR.Mk.1 was derived from it and was used among other things in the Gulf War. A detail set gives a model fidelity matching this technically rich subject.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife, bend them over an edge and bond them with super glue or an adhesive made for photo-etching. Degrease the parts before painting and lay down a primer so that the paint holds well. Color parts, where the set holds them, are applied with no further painting over.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
