Triple radial rows of rivets in 1:72 scale from Eduard add a three-dimensional surface to small aircraft models where the kit does not have one.
Responsibility details are not available.
The smallest of the common aircraft scales makes the greatest demands on the fineness of a surface, because any coarser texture here looks oversized at once. This set deals with the situation with three parallel rows of rivets curved into an arc, as its name states. These are not parts for a single machine but a universal material that you lay out on a model yourself.
Models in 1:72 scale often stand in a display case several at a time side by side, and the difference between a smooth and a textured surface is clearly visible in a line-up like that. Raised heads catch the light and suggest the shaping of the airframe even where engraving would disappear under a layer of paint. The arc arrangement moreover suits the edges of circular cowlings and the transitions between the fuselage and the leading sections above all.
Work under good lighting and preferably with tweezers with fine jaws. The surface has to be perfectly smooth, otherwise the tiny heads will not adhere over their whole area. Transfer short sections, take a pause between them and let them go tacky. Choose a thinner final coat so that the texture does not disappear under a heavy layer; ideally spray several times very lightly.
