An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese Type 94 tankette in the configuration with a 37 mm gun, in 1:72 scale. The model is released by the Polish manufacturer IBG Models. The package holds finely molded plastic parts and a decal sheet; the small armored vehicle is rewarding both in dioramas and on the shelf.
The Type 94 was a small Japanese tankette of the 1930s intended for reconnaissance, escort and towing cargo trailers. Its crew was two men and in the small turret it originally carried a machine gun. In the version with a 37 mm gun it gained stronger armament against lightly armored targets. The vehicle was widely deployed by the Japanese army in China and in the opening phases of the war in the Pacific.
Separate the small parts from the sprues carefully and glue them with liquid cement for plastic; in a small scale, work with a sharp knife and tweezers. Assemble and paint the running gear before finishing the hull. After the primer, apply the Japanese camouflage with an airbrush or a brush; a dark wash will bring out the detail and pigments will add dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
