Italeri 1:72 U.S. Infantry (Second World War) is a set of many small plastic figures of American infantry of the Second World War, ideal for dioramas and wargaming.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds a numerous group of small injection-molded plastic figures of American infantry of the Second World War in 1:72 scale. The package offers roughly forty-eight figures in sixteen poses. The brand is the Italian maker Italeri; the figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The figures stand for the American infantrymen who landed in Normandy on 6 June 1944. The equipment matches the typical kit of the US Army — the M1 Garand rifle, the B.A.R. automatic rifle, the Thompson submachine gun and a light machine gun. The figures are somewhat more robust than older sets of a similar kind.
Separate the small parts carefully from the fret and clean up the mold seams. We recommend a primer and painting with good brushes; olive green uniforms come out well after light highlighting and a thin wash. It is practical to paint the set in larger batches.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
