Responsibility details are not available.
A collector model of the infantry fighting vehicle M1296 Stryker Dragoon in 1:72 scale. The model comes finished, factory-assembled and painted including the markings and is ready to be displayed straight away. The form corresponds to a vehicle of the 2nd Cavalry Regiment stationed in Germany in 2020. It is not a kit; the model is complete from the factory.
The M1296 Dragoon came about as a response to the insufficient firepower of the original transport Strykers, which carried only a machine gun weapon station. The vehicle was given a remote controlled turret with an automatic gun of 30 mm caliber, thanks to which it can destroy lightly armored targets at a greater distance while keeping its ability to carry an infantry squad. The modification came about primarily for American units deployed in Europe, where it was to make up the gap against comparably armed vehicles. The vehicle kept the eight-wheeled chassis and the high road mobility of the whole Stryker family.
Display it out of direct sunlight, because ultraviolet light shifts the shade of the finish and the printing over time. Remove dust with a soft brush or a blower, with no solvents and no cleaning products. Lift the model by the hull, not by the gun barrel, the antennas or the mirrors. It shows up best in a display case alongside other modern armored vehicles of the same scale, where the difference between the transport and the fighting version of the family is apparent.
This is a finished painted collector model, not a kit. It is not intended for play.
