An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer ACE. The package holds plastic parts, a photo-etched part, tires and a decal sheet with civilian marking options. It is a smaller but detailed model of a period American truck, which suits civilian as well as period dioramas.
The subject is an American light truck from the second half of the 1930s powered by a V-8 engine, in the version with a stake body. Vehicles of this type were used for ordinary civilian carriage of goods, and their design, with a split windshield and a characteristic cab, is typical of American production of that time.
Glue the small parts of the frame and the bed with thin cement for plastic, the photo-etched items with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply filler primer, put the paint on with an airbrush and paint the tires separately. You bring a wooden body to life with glazes and a wash, and a fine patina will emphasize the detail and a used look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
