A masking set for the canopy of the Vickers Valetta T.3 1:72 is intended for the glazing of the navigation training version of this British aircraft. It is an accessory for painting, not a model.

Self-adhesive masks for the glazing of a model of the British flying navigation classroom Vickers Valetta T.3 in 1:72 scale. It is on this version in particular that masking makes the most sense — besides the pilot's glazing the machine has further glazed areas that are hard to cover with tape. The set is neither a kit nor a decal set; it is an aid for painting.
The Valetta T.3 was created by converting the military Valetta transport into a flying classroom for training navigators. The interior was given a number of working stations with tables and instruments, and astrodomes for astronavigation were added on the back of the fuselage. The machines served with British training units in the fifties and sixties, and they can be told from the transport version at first glance by exactly that glazing above the fuselage.
On small domes the masks go on best once the part has been sanded and polished into a smooth transition with the fuselage. Wash the clear parts before masking, degrease them and let them dry. Lay the mask on with tweezers and press it down with a blunt tool, so that no bubble is left anywhere. Spray the paint in thin coats perpendicular to the edge of the mask, not at an angle underneath it. Remove the mask before the paint has fully cured.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
