An injection-molded plastic kit of the American carrier-borne fighter in 1:72 scale from the Polish maker Hobby 2000. The release uses an established plastic mold and brings a new decal sheet and a masking film for the canopy glazing, so two of the items most often bought separately come in the box.
The Vought F-8 Crusader was an American supersonic carrier fighter, marked out by its variable-incidence wing, which improved its behavior on takeoff from and landing on a carrier. The F-8E version was among the most heavily armed and most widely used variants and made its name in the fighting over Vietnam, where it earned the nickname of the last gunfighter thanks to its cannon armament.
Take care that the fuselage halves and the leading edges of the wing line up cleanly. We recommend a primer, a gloss surface under the decals and thin coats of paint with an airbrush. The mask that comes with it makes clean canopy framing easier.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
