The third sheet of the War in Ukraine series in 1:72 scale is devoted to Ukrainian transport hardware of the years 2014 to 2022, the MAZ-537 tractor and the UAZ-452 van.

A Star Decals decal sheet aimed at rear-area vehicles, not at fighting hardware. Two types are named in the name: the heavy MAZ-537 tractor and the light UAZ-452 van, known by the nickname Buhanka.
The MAZ-537 is a four-axle heavy tractor of Soviet design, used above all for hauling tanks on a lowboy semi-trailer and for towing oversized loads. The UAZ-452, by contrast, is a small off-road van with a boxy body, which with armies as well as civilian services carries people and materiel and serves as an ambulance too. The markings are tied to Ukrainian vehicles in the period from 2014 to 2022 and are conceived as factual documentation of their look.
Both types have extensive flat sides on which every unevenness under the membrane is visible. Before you seat a decal, check that the base is really smooth and free of dust. Insignia reaching across a door frame or the edge of the body are better divided with a scalpel and applied in parts, otherwise the membrane will ripple in the corner. Under large designs it works well to apply water with a brush, so that the decal can still be moved for a while.
