The resin wheels have an accurate tire tread pattern and often realistic flattening where they meet the ground, and the masks then make it easier to separate the tire from the hub cleanly while painting. The set is meant for use with a matching plastic model.
The Vickers Wellington is a British twin-engine bomber of the Second World War. It made its name for the geodetic structure of its fuselage, which gave the aircraft considerable resistance to damage. It served with British bomber aviation and was one of the mainstays of the night bombing campaign in the first years of the war.
Wash the wheels to remove the mold release agent and cut off the casting blocks. Spray the tire first, then lay on the mask and paint the hub, or the other way round. A dark gray shade suits the tires better than pure black, along with light dusting with pigments at the contact patch.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
