This is an add-on detail set, not an aircraft model. The set from Aires contains a resin pilot seat for the Zlin Z-37 Cmelak agricultural aircraft in 1:72 scale. The faithfully rendered seat replaces the simplified plastic part and improves the detail of the cockpit, which in the small scale is clearly visible through the open glazing.
The Z-37 Cmelak is a Czechoslovak single-engine agricultural aircraft intended for dusting and spraying crops. It is marked by a robust structure, a raised pilot's cockpit with a good view and a characteristic stocky fuselage with a chemical hopper. It flew in Czechoslovakia and on export markets and became an icon of agricultural aviation.
Wash the mold release agent off the part and separate it carefully from the casting block, then glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the seat according to the interior of the real subject, set the harness apart and add a light wash to emphasize the detail. Protect your airways while sanding.
