A set of twenty diamond burrs with a 2.35 mm shank from Model Craft. Tools for engraving, shaping and cleaning up in a micro drill.
Responsibility details are not available.
A diamond burr has neither the teeth of a cutter nor the cut of a file. The working part is covered with a layer of abrasive grains that grind the material away, and it therefore copes with things that would blunt a steel tool: glass, ceramic, hardened steel, resin and stone. On models it is used for engraving, for opening out holes, for shaping and for cleaning up places a file cannot reach. The set holds twenty pieces in various shapes, from ball and cylindrical to conical and disc. The 2.35 millimeter shank diameter is the common size for modeling micro drills.
The set suits modelers who rework resin and printed parts, engrave into hard materials or shape holes. It also comes into its own outside modeling, in work with glass, stone and jewelry. It is equipment you buy once and that lasts a long time, as long as you work with it without pressure.
The tools are used in a rotary tool. Use eye protection, work in a ventilated room and keep everything out of the reach of children.
