AMMO Clear Water — acrylic water 250 ml

The Clear Water acrylic water gel from AMMO by Mig Jimenez in a container of 250 ml. It is a modeling accessory for creating a water surface in dioramas and vignettes, not a paint or a kit. Unlike the tinted variants it is clear, so it reproduces the most transparent waters with a crystal, deep effect. The product has body and can be applied to slightly sloping surfaces as well.

Use

• Pour it straight into the prepared basin or hollow of the diorama, where it forms a transparent surface
• Thanks to its slow drying it lets you model the movement of water — waves, rapids or waterfalls
• It can be mixed with other products in the same range or with a small amount of acrylic paint to fine-tune the shade without losing transparency
• Adjust the consistency by thinning it with water or with acrylic thinner

Who it is for

For builders of dioramas, vignettes and scenes who want to render clean water faithfully — a mountain stream, a pool or a shallow with a visible bottom. It suits all the usual scales, because it is a material for creating a surface, not a part tied to a scale. Because it is clear, a carefully worked bottom comes into its own with it — pebbles, sand and color transitions show through the surface and give the scene depth. Apply it in thinner layers and always let it dry through; the last layer can suggest ripples or a calm surface, depending on the character of the scene.
