El CID: Andalusian Light Infantry in 28 mm is a set of unassembled hard plastic figures for historical wargaming.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of hard plastic figures in 28 mm for tabletop games brings the Andalusian light infantry of the era of the legendary El Cid. The figures are supplied unpainted and unassembled in several variants of pose and armament. 28 mm is the standard of historical as well as fantasy wargaming, so the set fits easily into existing armies.
In the 11th century Christian and Muslim (Andalusian) forces clashed on the Iberian peninsula. The light infantry of the Andalusian armies served as skirmishers and archers, mobile and lightly armed. The set captures these warriors with period gear, shields and both edged and missile weapons.
Separate the figures from the sprue gates and clean up the parting lines. Glue the hard plastic with a thin model cement, or with cyanoacrylate glue. We recommend a base coat, then the basic tones of the clothing and the metal and a final accenting with a wash into the recesses. The shields and the cloth leave room for the varied patterns typical of the Andalusian armies.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
