36x D6 12mm Dice - Clear Blue/Purple

36x D6 12mm Dice - Clear Blue/Purple

Transparent six-sided dice with a 12 mm edge in a blue and purple build from Green Stuff World. Both the count of 36 pieces and the type of die follow directly from the name of the set. The pair of colors is chosen so that the shades can be told apart and yet look like one set.

Two colors as a rule, not as decoration

Experienced players use the color of a die as a carrier of information. Blue rolls the attack, purple the defense, or one color belongs to a unit and the other to its commander. A roll can then be worked out all at once instead of as two separate rolls one after another, and nobody has to ask which dice were whose. A two-color set positively invites that habit. A clear material keeps the values well readable and, when rolled into a tray, does not feel heavy or sound loud the way metal dice do. Blue and purple also stand apart well from the typical red sets an opponent tends to have.

Use at the gaming table

• Separating two kinds of roll by color in one throw
• Telling a commander's rolls apart from a rank-and-file unit's
• A set of your own that you will recognize at a club table
• A stock of dice for longer campaign sessions
• Usable for board games and role-playing games as well

Who it is for

For players who want to speed up working out rolls, for pairs who play against each other regularly, and for anyone who cares about their dice being recognizable from other people's on the table.

The shade and the transparency may differ in a photograph depending on the lighting.
