Printed set of seaweeds from Green Stuff World: resin seaweed for underwater scenery, scale around 1:48.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of seaweeds made by three-dimensional printing from resin, intended for underwater and seaside scenery. The manufacturer lists it for a scale of around one forty-eighth and builds the shapes from real plants. The set holds pieces of different sizes and different degrees of waviness, so from them you can build a dense growth on the bottom as well as individual clumps attached to a rock or to a wreck.
The printed parts have no casting blocks but thin supports, which you cut off with a sharp knife before sanding the marks away. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, that is with super glue. Apply primer before painting. In underwater scenes it pays to paint the seaweed darker and cooler than a dry sample would suggest, because under water colors lose their richness. If you want to pour clear resin imitating water over the plants, try on an offcut first how the paint behaves under the pour.
For builders of underwater dioramas and scenes with wrecks, for painters of figures with water bases and for anyone building seaside scenery.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
