This is an aftermarket accessory, not a whole model. The turned metal barrel replaces the plastic barrel from a plastic kit precisely and gives the gun of a German tank a perfectly straight profile and a sharp muzzle end of the kind that is hard to achieve in injection-molded plastic.
The 7.5 cm KwK 44 L/70 is a late version of the long German tank gun of 75 mm caliber and 70 calibers in length, closely related to the proven weapon of the Panther medium tank. It was developed for the late development variants of this hardware from the end of the Second World War and was to offer a high muzzle velocity and penetration against armor.
Remove the plastic barrel from the turret, clean up the mating surface and glue the metal barrel in with cyanoacrylate or with two-part epoxy. Degrease the metal before painting and go over it with a primer for the airbrush so that the paint holds well.
This is a separate detail accessory (a metal barrel), not a complete model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
