A resin collector's figure of an Aztec priestess from the Polish brand PANZER ART, the manufacturer's part number FI75-002. It belongs to the line of figures about 75 mm tall; with collector's figures that is a measurement of the height of the person, not the scale of a model, and so no scale is stated here. The line is not a military one: alongside historical subjects the manufacturer also keeps figures from the field of fantasy in it.
The Aztecs, who called themselves the Mexica, ruled central Mexico from the city of Tenochtitlán from the 14th to the 16th century. Religion belonged to the core of their state and temple service was a calling for life, open to women as well. Priestly dress goes with feather ornaments, textile cloaks with woven patterns, obsidian tools and rich jewelry. The figure is a free artistic composition on this theme, not a portrait of a particular historical person.
Wash the casting in warm soapy water, cut off the casting blocks and sand wet; do not inhale the dust. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The larger size is both an opportunity and a demand: at this size every transition shows, so build the skin tones up in thin layers and blend the transitions. Textiles and feather ornaments can take strong colors, but unify them with a thin glaze. Apply the paint over a primer.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
