It is a single figure of an archer cast in resin in the 75 mm figure size, the manufacturer's part number FI75-003. It is not a kit nor an accessory for a model, but a standalone collector's figure to be glued together and painted. Alongside its main military line in 1:35, PANZER ART also offers this 75 mm group, where besides knights there are subjects outside military equipment as well. It is not a particular historical person but the sculptor's own design, so in painting it nothing ties you to a prescribed scheme.
The figure 75 mm is a size category of its own: it gives the approximate height of the person and corresponds roughly to 1:24 scale. Against an ordinary military figure in 1:35 it is therefore considerably larger and offers far more room for the face, the eyes and the textures of skin and metal. That is why 75 mm is the home size of figure painters who paint a figure as a standalone display piece. A larger surface, however, forgives less.
Resin behaves differently from injection-molded plastic. First wash the parts in warm water with a drop of dish soap so that the mold release residue disappears from the surface; without that the paint does not hold and peels. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw, do not break them, and do not inhale the sanding dust from the resin. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); modeling cement for plastic does not work here. Before painting, apply a base coat in a thin layer, ideally by spraying.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
