The Hawker Sea Hawk FGA.6 WV908 in 1:72 scale is a finished painted metal model of one particular surviving machine in the colors of the Royal Navy Historic Flight, not a kit.

A finished metal collector's item, assembled and painted, in 1:72 scale, the manufacturer's part number AV7223004. The model is unpacked and stood in a display case - no modeling work awaits it. There are two distinctions here: the FGA.6 version and the serial number WV908. The second Sea Hawk of the same range is the FB.5 version with serial number WM969, that is, a different machine and a different version. Check the finish and the extent of the package on the box.
The Sea Hawk served with the Fleet Air Arm as a carrier-borne jet machine for fighter and ground-attack tasks; it never served with the Royal Air Force, even though that confusion turns up often with the type. The exhaust ducting is bifurcated into two nozzles at the sides of the fuselage - room for fuel was thus created above the engine. The FGA.6 version is a later form of the type than the FB.5. Machine WV908 was built at Coventry at the end of 1954 and the Royal Navy took it over in February 1955; it served with squadrons until 1962. In 1978 it was brought back to airworthy condition and became at that time the only flying Sea Hawk in the world. The color scheme the model carries comes from the time when the aircraft flew with the Royal Navy Historic Flight. That ended its activity in 2019 and the machine passed into the care of a successor organization, which is returning it to airworthy condition.
On a metal model in 1:72 what decides is the cleanliness of the printing of the serial number and the codes, the seating of the landing gear and the smoothness of the joint between the wing and the fuselage. The model is intended for display, it is not a toy. The range comes out in limited editions and this part number is listed by the manufacturer as discontinued.
