This injection-molded plastic kit captures the celebrated British ship of the line of the age of sail. The set from Revell offers a hull with finely rendered sides, gun decks, masts and yards. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; rigging is worth using to finish the yards off.
H.M.S. Victory is a British first-rate ship of the line armed with more than a hundred guns. She went down in history as the flagship of Admiral Nelson at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. She is preserved to this day as a museum ship and is one of the best-known sailing ships in the world.
Paint the hull and the gun decks before closing them up. The typical look comes from the black-and-ocher striping of the sides; paint it with an airbrush or a brush with careful masking. Fit the masts and yards after painting and add the rigging as the instructions show. Use the enclosed stand for a firm display.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
