Responsibility details are not available.
A kit of the prewar Soviet fighter in 1:32 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM. It is an injection-molded plastic model with a finely engraved surface and a well worked-out cockpit. Decals for several marking options are in the box as well.
The Polikarpov I-16 was one of the first monoplane fighters with a retractable undercarriage. The type 17 version brought armament strengthened by cannons in the wings. The stubby, nimble machine served with the Soviet Air Force at the beginning of the Second World War and was committed in the Spanish Civil War as well.
Use thin modeling cement on the joints. Apply primer before painting and lay the shades and the camouflage on with an airbrush. The characteristic barrel-shaped fuselage and the short engine cowling leave plenty of room for weathering and for picking out the panels.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
