ICM WWII Pilots of British Naval Aviation (1:32) is a set of plastic figures of British naval aviation pilots of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of injection-molded plastic figures in 1:32 scale represents pilots of British naval aviation (the Fleet Air Arm) during the Second World War. The figures are captured in period flying overalls and gear and suit models of Royal Navy carrier-based and shore-based aircraft.
The Fleet Air Arm was the air arm of the Royal Navy, operating from aircraft carriers as well as from coastal bases. Its pilots flew machines such as the Fairey Swordfish, the Seafire and the Fairey Fulmar and carried out duties from anti-submarine warfare to fighter protection of convoys. Figures in flying gear will therefore fittingly complement aircraft models of this period.
Carefully separate the parts from the sprues, clean up the parting lines and glue them with cement for plastic. Paint the uniforms in acrylics: khaki and brown tones for the flying overalls, leather accessories and life vests; bring the faces to life with fine shading and a glaze. A matte varnish will unify the surface.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
