Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German recovery vehicle Bergepanzer Tiger I in 1:35 scale from Rye Field Model. The model captures the version used in Italy in 1944 and comes as a set of parts to be assembled and painted. Workable tracks and photo-etched parts are included.
The Bergepanzer Tiger I was an armored recovery vehicle created by converting the Tiger I heavy tank. It was used to tow and recover damaged vehicles whose weight was beyond ordinary equipment. The vehicle the kit refers to went through modifications already in production and was used on the Italian front in 1944.
Assemble the workable tracks and the running gear before you close the hull. Use liquid cement on the plastic and bond the small photo-etched parts with super glue. Spray the surface with a primer, lay the camouflage on with an airbrush and build the patina with washes and pigments to bring out the wear of service.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
