Responsibility details are not available.
This set of four injection-molded plastic figures in 1:35 scale captures French Zouaves of the early First World War. The figures bring out the characteristic stances of soldiers in the uniforms of the day and make a rewarding subject for dioramas of 1914.
The Zouaves were French colonial infantry units, famous for their striking uniforms with a short jacket, baggy trousers and the chechia cap. At the start of the First World War they still went into the field in their traditional colorful dress, which only gradually gave way to less conspicuous field uniforms. Their appearance is one of the most characteristic images of the French army of 1914.
Cut the parts away with a sharp knife, clean up the mold seams and bond them with liquid cement for plastic. The striking colors of the period uniforms build on contrast; bring out the faces with glazes, even the fabrics out with a matte varnish and liven the details up with dry-brushing.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
