A turned metal 128 mm Pak 44 (80) L/55 gun barrel (1:35) from Aber. An accurate metal replacement barrel for models of the Sd.Kfz.186 Jagdtiger heavy tank destroyer.
Responsibility details are not available.
This precisely turned metal barrel replaces the long plastic barrel of the base model. Thanks to machining it has the correct run of the taper, thin muzzle walls and perfect concentricity, which cannot be guaranteed on a plastic tube of that length. It is a detail accessory, not a vehicle kit. Made by Aber, 1:35 scale.
The 12.8 cm PaK 44 L/55 was an exceptionally powerful German anti-tank gun of the Second World War. In the closed casemate of the Sd.Kfz.186 Jagdtiger heavy tank destroyer it could destroy Allied tanks at long range. The extreme length of the barrel makes its accuracy and straightness a key element of a faithful model.
This is an accessory (a metal barrel), not a model in itself. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
