An injection-molded plastic kit of a French light off-road vehicle in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM, in the configuration with a Hotchkiss machine gun. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Laffly V15T was a French light off-road tractor with all-wheel drive, taken into service at the end of the 1930s. Its main task was to tow a light anti-tank gun and to carry its crew and ammunition. The characteristic feature of the whole Laffly family of vehicles is the small auxiliary free-rolling wheels at the nose and under the frame, which helped the vehicle get over a ditch or a lip of ground without digging in. The body is open, with a canvas top and low side panels, which makes the model a rewarding subject for working up the interior and the load.
On an open vehicle almost everything is in view, so it pays to spend time on the frame, the seats and the floor before the body is closed up. The small parts, the auxiliary wheels among them, are best left on the sprue as long as possible. The wheels are painted separately and fitted only onto the finished paint. French vehicles of that period wore striking multi-color schemes with either soft or sharply bounded transitions; the sharp edges are masked with modeling putty or a template, and a soft transition is sprayed freehand. The finish belongs to a wash, fine dust on the chassis and traces of rub marks where the crew touched the vehicle.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
