The AbramsX is a concept heavy battle tank that General Dynamics presented in 2022 as a demonstration of a possible direction of development. The announced features include an unmanned turret with an autoloader, which reduces the crew to three members, a hybrid diesel-electric powerplant with lower fuel consumption, a remotely operated weapon station with a smaller-caliber gun and an active protection system. It is a technology demonstrator; it is not a vehicle taken into service or an approved production form, so the specific data may differ from any future production.
Cut the parts from the sprues and glue them with a thin cement for plastic. Assemble and paint the running gear and the lower areas before finishing the hull. Apply a primer and the colors with an airbrush; a uniform contemporary scheme suits modern hardware, or alternatively the contrasting studio presentation of the prototype. Bring out the panel lines discreetly with a wash and keep the wear sparing, so that it matches a test vehicle rather than front-line service.
