The Neubaufahrzeug (literally new construction vehicle) was a German experimental heavy tank of the first half of the 1930s, belonging to the fashionable wave of multi-turret colossi of its time. It carried a large rotating turret with two guns of different caliber and two smaller turrets with machine guns. Only a few prototypes were built, and they never saw series production. A few machines were used rather for propaganda during the campaign in Norway in 1940, where they were to demonstrate the strength of German equipment.
First assemble and finish the running gear, because a multi-turret hull has an intricate suspension. Glue the parts with a thin modeling cement for plastic, sand the joints and lay on a primer. The turrets can be left rotating; the large flat areas of the superstructure are rewarding for modulating the shade and for fine shading of the rivets. On the tracks and the underside of the hull use washes and pigments for mud and dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
